The department posses the State-of-art laboratories and well qualified teaching and non-teaching staff members. In the department, the students are encouraged to attend practical training in reputed companies such as L&T , Gammon(I) Ltd, Hyderabad metro etc., as a part of their curriculum requirements. The department also conducting various guest lectures by experts from IITs, NITs to update current knowledge in the field of engineering.

Welcome to the Civil Engineering Department. It gives me great Pleasure to lead the department of Civil Engineering at SREC. Our College is one of the Premier institutes unique like the Ray of Sun being colourful, Natural and Shining. The Institution strives very hard to achieve its vision and accomplish its missions with quality and innovative education with strong desire to achieve academic excellence and bring efficient intellectuals to serve our nation.
The shear motto of our department is to provide Supreme quality education to every individual and develop them into dynamic engineers with a rich blend of competency, technicality, Managerial and Social skills to serve the societal needs and their career. The expertise of faculties is broad. We hold firm belief in our ability to succeed, practice human values, and show attitude of self-reliance, confidence and commitment. The institution also provides many value added courses apart from the conventional academics to enhance their career prospects. The institution provides a sophisticated ambience for conducive environment with well-equipped infrastructure.
We make sure that our students have a broader perception over their subjects for which various Industrial and Field Visits are organized. Program Educational Objectives of Civil Engineering program are in line with the mission and vision statements of the Institute.
PEOs (Program Educational Objectives) relate to the career and professional accomplishments of students after they graduate from the program. Consequently, assessment and evaluation of the objectives requires assessment tools that can be applied after graduation.
To achieve the Program Educational Objectives, students in Civil Engineering will have:
